#ABA4litrechallenge

Water is one of the most essential resources we need to survive, yet nearly a billion people around the world lack access to clean water. To raise awareness about this issue in the lead-up to World Water Day, ABA's ‘Save Water Club’ is challenging you to take the #ABA4litrechallenge.

We know this might be a big change from your normal routine, but it can change how you think about water forever. The average western family uses up to 500 liters of water daily, while some only get 4 - 5 liters over a week. By taking this challenge, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of water as a basic need and right for human well-being.

Are you ready for the challenge?

Here is how you can participate:

1) Prepare your bottles beforehand, knowing this is all you will use for the next 24 hours.

2) Restrict your water consumption to only 4 liters for a full 24 hours.

3) All water usage will be from the bottles you’ve prepared, including preparing tea/coffee, washing your face, brushing your teeth, taking a shower, cooking, and cleaning your hands or living space, including any other daily water usage.

*Please note, as a health measure, we will not include your drinking water or count toilet flushes towards your total water consumption, as a single flush alone uses nearly 5 liters of water alone.

Remember, this challenge is not about raising money or building a well in a developing country but is about recognizing the immense privilege we have with access to clean drinking water while so many others are deprived of this basic necessity.

Join us in taking the #ABA4litrechallenge and make a difference in the world!
