What is MESAC?
ABA is one of six member schools of the Middle East South Asia Conference. The MESAC philosophy is dedicated to coordinating a range of sporting and other activities through inter-school collaboration. Participants in MESAC tournaments benefit in many ways. MESAC runs on 3 seasons per year, competing against schools in Qatar, India and United Arab Emirates.
The MESAC Philosophy
The MESAC organisation seeks to create, promote and foster cooperation among its member schools by providing a forum for communication and discussion, by promoting activities and by seeking to serve as an extension of each members schools’ program to enhance the development of the students, the schools and the organisation through :

MESAC stands for Middle East South Asia Conference
MESAC is an athletic and academic conference consisting of six top international schools in the Middle East and India. The schools competing are ABA International School - Oman - American Community School of Abu Dhabi - UAE American Embassy School - India - American School of Doha - Qatar - American School of Dubai - UAE. Dubai American Academy - UAE.
The teams are divided into Junior Varsity (Grades 8-10) and Varsity (Grades 11-12) age categories although some teams are combined ( Golf, Cross Country, Fine Arts, Speech and Debate, Tennis).
All events except Speech and Debate, Academic Games and Fine arts have separate male and female competitions, though both teams in the Junior Varsity or Varsity category will travel together.
Our Vipers have had considerable success over the years in MESAC competition and look forward to another exciting year!
