Our school is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, who generously volunteer their time and expertise to provide strategic oversight. We believe in transparency and accountability, ensuring that tuition fees go directly towards the hiring of brilliant faculty from around the world, and towards school operations and capital projects. Any surplus funds are reinvested into the continuous development and enhancement of our educational facilities and programmes.

SCHEDULE OF FEES AND GUIDELINES FOR GRADE PLACEMENT

* Fees mentioned above are in Omani Rials (OMR) to be paid per semester. There are 2 semesters per school year at ABA.

All tuition fees must be paid on or before the due dates as stated in the tuition fee schedule.
Tuition Fees for School Year 2025-2026 are subject to change.
Application fee of R.O. 75 is non-refundable and is required upon submission of all applications. This fee does not guarantee placement at the required time but will allow us to maintain the application for future consideration
Registration Deposit: 10% of the annual tuition fee is required upon confirmation and acceptance of placement. This deposit will be deducted from the amount due for semester fees, but is non-refundable should the place not be taken.

A 2% discount will be applied if the annual tuition fee is paid in full, no later than August 14th, 2024.

A late fee of 5% will be applicable for all the fee payments after the due date.
Fee payments are to be made either by cheque or direct bank transfer.
ABA reserves the right to initiate legal action on any cheques issued and dishonored.
ABA reserves the right to withhold any school document and restrict class attendance at any time if fees are outstanding.
Parents are requested to contact the Business office through email if the invoice is not received before the first day of school.
Parents are expected to ensure that fee payments are made on time, regardless of whether the payee is a parent or an employer.

ENROLMENT FEE
PAYMENT PLAN

ENROLMENT FEE

A non-refundable fee charged for ALL Students entering Kindergarten 2 to Grade 12. This fee will be applied to students moving from ABA Kindergarten 1 to Kindergarten 2. For parents of new students, Kindergarten 2 through Grade 12, there are two options available for payment of the Enrollment Fee.

*Enrollment Fee whether paid in full or in installments is non-refundable, even if the student withdraws from school after attending only one semester.

Option 1

R.O.3,500 paid, either in full or in two equal semi-annual installments in the first year. For the second installment a post-dated cheque (PDC) will be collected.
If the child withdraws from the school, irrespective of the reason, the second installment will be collected by the school.
Included in this option:

a) Sibling Rebate on Enrollment Fee payments - 5% for second (2nd) sibling, 10% each from third (3rd) sibling onwards. This rebate will be credited to the student’s account and will be adjusted against any future billing.

b) For any students transferring from other International schools in Muscat into ABA, there will be a 10% discount for each student on showing proof of payment of a non-refundable enrolment fee, not less than RO 2,500, at the previous school. There will not be any additional sibling discount for such cases, even if more than one family member transfers into ABA.

c) Former students returning to ABA will be required to pay the difference between the amount paid upon first registration and the amount of the Enrollment Fee contribution applicable at the time of re-registration.

d) The Enrollment Fee, either the full amount or the first installment, must be paid in full before the student’s first day of school along with the semester fees.

Option 2

R.O. 4,000 paid in four R.O.1,000 installments at the beginning of each academic year for four years. If the child withdraws from the school within the four-year period, there will be no further collection of the Enrollment Fee. Applicable for self-paying parents only upon submission of required documents to ABA.

a) If the installment option is chosen, the enrollment fee for students enrolling in high school will be as follows:

Grade 9 or below = R.O. 1,000 per year
Grade 10 = R.O. 1,333 per year
Grade 11 = R.O. 2,000 per year
Grade 12 = R.O. 2,000 per year

2% discount applicable if the annual tuition fee is paid in full no later than August 14th, 2024.

PAYMENT ON SEMESTER BASIS

Parents opting for payment on a semester basis must pay the fee on or before the following due dates. First semester - August 14th, 2024 | Second semester - January 12th, 2025

*Late fee charge of 5% will be levied from all payments after the above stated due dates.

Extended schedule for payment

Self-paying parents who find it difficult to make the payments on the above due dates will be allowed to pay on an extended schedule (with an additional 5% administration fee) , provided required documents are submitted to the Business office and after signing an undertaking in this respect.

For any queries regarding a customized payment plan, please get in touch with the Business Office through the form below on or before August 14th, 2024. *Failure to meet the terms of the undertaking will attract a 5% late fee on the amount outstanding.

Note: Installment amount will be calculated as follows:
(Annual fee + 5% admin fee) / number of installments subject to a maximum of 10 installments.

Parents of students withdrawing from school are required to notify the Registrar at least one (1) semester in advance except in extenuating circumstances. If a student leaves ABA before the end of the second week (10 school days) of either semester, 50% of the tuition fees for the current semester will be refunded. In addition, any fees paid in advance for tuition that applies to future semesters will be fully refunded. Students expelled from ABA do not qualify for any fee refund.
