ABA Performs is an engaging after school program offered at ABA Oman International School, designed to nurture students' creativity and performance skills through music and dance. This program is open to both ABA students and the wider community, providing a platform for participants to explore their artistic talents in a supportive environment.

During the year we will continue to offer dance classes in Modern and Ballet and our instrumental classes in Brass, Woodwind, Strings, Guitar and Drums.

  • ABA Performs runs across 2 terms of 15 weeks

    • Term One August 25th - December 15th 2024

    • Term Two January 18th - May 11th 2025

Private one-on-one lessons are 30 minutes long, priced at 12.5 OMR per session.

Lessons are booked for the entire semester and must be paid in advance directly to the teacher.

Trial classes are available at 12.5 OMR per session.

At the end of each semester, students can showcase their progress in a recital performance.

Term Two Individual Instrumental Music Classes:

  • Drums - Mr Thomas | Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after school

  • Saxophone, Clarinet, Recorder - Miss Rebecca | Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

  • Brass - Mr Jim | Monday and Wednesday

  • Flute - Miss Suzie | Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

  • Violin - Mr Luca | Tuesday 

  • Guitar and Bass - Mr Robert | Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

  • Piano and Classical Singing - Mr David | Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday

 

DANCE

Term Two Dance Classes:

  • Monday- 2.30pm - 3.30pm Modern Dance Stage 2

  • Tuesday- Ballet Stage 1 1.30 - 2.15 

  • Tuesday- Modern Dance Stage 1 2.30 - 3.30

  • Wednesday- Ballet Stage 2 2.30pm - 3.30pm

  • Thursday- Ballet Stage 1 1.30 - 2.15
     

  • Ballet Stage 1 - FCM/KG

  • Ballet Stage 2 - They are moved onto this stage from stage 1 or if they enroll with prior experience

  • Modern Stage 1 ES School

  • Modern Stage 2 MS School unless ES has strong technique

Our dance classes are group based and last for 45 minutes, priced at 7.5 OMR per session.

Lessons are booked for the entire semester and must be paid in advance directly to the teacher.

Trial classes are available at 7.5 OMR per session.

At the end of each semester, students can showcase their progress in a recital performance.
