International Understanding Award 2023

Anja Van Der Merwe
in recognition of her contribution to the development and advancement of internationalism in the community of ABA Oman International School.
Individual Sports Athlete of the Year
Georgia Isles
in recognition of her excellent performance in swimming. During the course of the year she won 8 golds, 4 silvers and 4 bronze at several regional swimming competitions and was awarded the Most Valuable medal in MESAC Swimming.
The Male Athlete of the Year
Daniel Helou
in recognition of the Most Valuable Player Viper medal awards in both Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Football. He was the captain of the Varsity Football team and he assisted the ABA junior sports programs by refereeing football matches.
Female Athlete of the Year
Gabriella Cooper
in recognition of the Most Valuable Player in Varsity Volleyball, Co-Captain of the Varsity Football team and who was awarded the Most Improved athlete in Track and Field where she was awarded four medals. She has also assisted the ABA junior sports programs by refereeing and scorekeeping football, basketball and volleyball matches.
