When you are ready to apply please make sure you meet the minimum teaching requirements:

• Valid teaching certification from an accredited teacher education program
• At least two years of successful teaching experience in an accredited public or private school.
• A clear criminal record check
• Knowledge and familiarity with the IB curriculum
• Below 58 years of age for the initial contract

We also seek teachers who have

• Experience working in a multicultural or international school setting
• Experience and willingness to work in co-curricular sports or activities and who seek a collaborative working environment

All possible steps will be taken to ensure that thorough background checks, child protection interview questions and best practice procedures are implemented throughout the recruiting season including follow up reference checks and personal contact with referees. ABA will also cross-reference potential new hires with relevant official sex offender databases where possible including, but not limited to, home of record and most recent country of employment.
