PARENTS AS PARTNERS
Has your child ever come to you asking for help because they are frustrated with an assignment, and you wonder how to help them without doing the work for them?

How do you convince your child that failure is part of success?
Do you ever worry about your child’s mental health, social isolation or potential learning loss due to the pandemic?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, you’re going to want to keep reading.
Our Director of Student Support, Ann Carshult, is excited to tell you about the NESA Parents as Partners 2.0 Webinar Series. These webinars will address child development and explore ways to support your child as a learner. Research has shown that schools that partner with parents have a positive impact on student growth and achievement.
Distinguished specialists in their fields will be speaking directly to parents live, through Zoom, every second Tuesday at 18:00 until April 27, 2021. The benefit of attending live means using the Q & A panel to ask the presenter questions or use the CHAT panel to share insights with session participants.
But don’t worry, meetings will be recorded and shared so that you can watch at your convenience. You can register for new meetings and find the recorded ones here. After logging in, in a few hours, you will be sent an email providing access to the library. When signing up, please ensure you use the full name of the school - ABA Oman International School - to login.
